Motorman Jobs at Maersk Drilling

The Motorman positions with Maersk Drilling encompass group of jobs under the title Motorman & Engine Room Responsible. The jobs include positions of the 1-st to 4-th Engineer. The Motorman work consists of performing routine checks of the machinery, tanks, bilge and pump-rooms along with the daily operation and maintenance of the machinery. The job of the Engine Room Responsible consists of monitoring work of engines, and advising deviations to the Offshore Maintenance Supervisor as soon, as the irregularities are noticed. Candidates for these exciting offshore oil careers can start their career path as Motorman and progress from there. The other option would be for the guys with maritime or navy background to get certified Chief Engineer. A Chief Engineer certificate would allow a good fit to get promoted to the position of Offshore Maintenance Engineer, but the complete STCW would be required.
